SELF PORTRAIT OF ALEXANDER J. BAXTER

Out of pure fandom of this very talented rising Vancouver artist, it led us to get to know Alexander J. Baxter a little more and so should you!

We were able to do a phone call with the Blue Flame star on his rare day off. The indie that made it on to Amazon Prime Video just aired just 3 weeks ago! The show has had over 22K views off the trailer on Facebook so far!

We realized after talking to Alexander, this young actor is really going places. He has a James Dean quality and looks. Alexander James plays Creed in Quinton Barr's pilot episode of Blue Fame now on Amazon Prime in the USA and Uk!

The pilot episode opens up with a chase of James Dowling's late father killed by Creed himself! Alexander's earey and controlled deep angry tone scared us. The best part is not knowing what Creed will do to the Dowling family air, James Dowling (Quinton Barr). Set in the present-day James Dowling is brought back to a different realm by Evelyn Crowling (Jessica Moutray) and Phillip (Brian Knox McGugan) with Creed and Kindroth being is his ultimate nemesis's

We learned that he is a deep and kind soul. He loves his art of acting, writing and photography. He is now taking his career in long strides as things have been rolling along for him since his role as a Mummy on DC Legends of tomorrow in 2019.

Alexander has been passionate about the arts since a very young age, leading to him pursuing his career in acting which has in turn opened many doors.  Through his training he has learned the respect and dedication that one must embody to thrive as a truly creative person, and by doing so aims to constantly challenge himself to be better than his prior days. Since his first role in a Grade eight play as a toothless old man, Alexander has not halted his pursuit for acting, to which later led him to play such roles as: Gollum & Smaug in The Hobbit, Two-Bit in The Outsiders, Kolenkhov in You Can't Take It With You, and so many more.

Throughout his training he has spent countless hours on film sets early into his education. He has since been on several shows such as: DC Legends Of Tomorrow and Man In The High Castle. His love for performing drove him to seek education in Theatre, Film and Voice acting, landing him with the honed selection of skills that he constantly strives towards further refining. Through his many different training approaches, Alexander chooses to perceive actors as members of a tribe, storytellers to be precise, and through this he has given himself fully to his craft, and the pursuit of telling genuine and passionate stories, whatever they maybe.

ALEXANDER IN BLUE FLAME AS THE ANTAGONIST CREED

CREED IS A VERY SCARY DEEP CHARACTER, ALEXANDER BAXTER WAS PERFECT FOR THE ROLE AS HE DELIVERS AN INCREDIBLE EVIL CHARACTER PERFORMANCE.

Our journey begins as we discover, along with our reluctant hero, that nothing is as it seems. James Dowling (Barr) must rise to the occasion and fulfill an ancient prophesy to protect the lost city of West River from the evil sorcerer, Creed and his army of goblins or all realms of existence will succumb to his command.
