"This was a dress that will always be close to our hearts, it was the second dress our team collaborated on together. It has been shown on runways in San Francisco, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Calgary, and it never let us down." "Another transparent bridal design, the beautiful chiffon hoop skirt was illuminated by veins of fibre optics that originated at the belt. I wish you could see the detail and the amazing tailoring by Dianne Gibson. But the best part of this dress might have been that it was powered by rechargeable AA batteries! It also twisted up into a hat box for storage. (That made travelling with it across borders much easier too!) Kelly had an amazing vision for the 3D printed components which held the electronics to the underside of the satin waist-cincher." "This skirt was actually designed with Millie Jayne in mind as the model from the beginning, and during this show (it’s debut) she brought it to life! It was an emotional moment for us to see her in her dress after working on it for months! It lived for years before it was finally retired. Special thanks to Jeff McDonald for the amazing photo! We will always treasure this one.." Photographer: Jeff McDonald Photography Model: Millie Jayne HMUA: Ivonne Arsenault Hair and Makeup Runway: MakeFashion 3.0 at Telus Spark
