We are a boutique style medical aesthetics clinic conveniently located 1 block from Chinook Mall, and offer a variety of services in a warm, welcoming, and professional environment.
After Michelle's many years working in the aesthetics industry, she wanted to create a unique aesthetic experience, one that is professional yet warm and empowering; offering a variety of result driven aesthetic services and products offered at competitive prices without pushy sales tactics while giving back to the community. So, DermNurse was opened at this location August 2017, and we have been growing ever since.

Michelle graduated from Nursing in 1996, has worked closely with a certified Dermatologist for 5 years, and has completed the Masters in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program offered through the University of Athabasca. She is an advanced nurse injector, member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Alberta (NPAA), Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA), Alberta Society of Aesthetic Nurses (ASAN), Canadian Society for Aesthetic Specialty Nurses (CSASN), College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) and has been awarded "Top Dermatologic Nurse in Alberta" by the International Nurses Association July 2015.

Jane Shewchuk has over 3 years experience working successfully as a microblader and esthetician. Jane strives to create perfectly natural looking results using customized blends of safe and effective colours, all hand selected for your specific skin type and tone. Jane became certified in lash extensions through the prestigious LA based company Lash Box. She is passionate about skin care, knowledgable and skilled in determining the right products and services to suit your needs, lifestyle, and budget.

Maria RN, BN, MN, NP : Clinical Supervisor & Nurse Injector
Maria started her nursing career in 2001 and became a Nurse Practitioner through the University of Athabasca in 2014. Maria has 7 years experience working in non-hospital surgical facilities and 13 years experience in Dermatology. She completed her Botox and Filler training in 2014 at the prestigious Dr.Martin's Training Center in Toronto. Currently, Maria works as a Nurse Practitioner with in-hospital Complex Chronic Pain patients and as a Medical consultant at DermNurse.
Donna: Assistant Manager and facial artist
Donna is well versed in office administration and marketing. With additional training, Donna has excelled at operating the Venus Versa and in performing facials and chemical peels. She presents a genuine welcoming, warm and professional demeanor and is loved by all of our clients.
Rob: Co-founder
With his background of 20 years in the capital markets business and funding over 50 public and private companies, Rob co-founded DermNurse with Michelle in 2015.
Barrett Perry RN has started performing cosmetic injectables at DermNurse. Although Barrett's main background is in acute care/emergency, she has developed an appreciation for conservative cosmetic approaches and has a keen eye for symmetry and balance. Barrett has become certified in Botox and dermal filler injectables in order to pursue the art of medical aesthetics and has learned a variety of injection approaches and techniques.
