Come ring in summer on the longest day of the year with the Mike MacKenzie Band playing all night. 3 sets of quality rock & roll including originals, some epic new deep cuts & classics and a continued nod to Zep for their 50th. Of course the music and merch from Mike's newest album "Solstice" will be out in full force, plus it's his bday so hope to see ya for a good time!!!

Mike MacKenzie is a versatile guitarist, singer and songwriter based in Calgary, Alberta. For the last number of years, he has been steadily writing, recording and touring with his solo project in addition to other musical ventures. His incendiary blues-rock music is inspired by such groups as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix but manages to retain its own identity walking the line between vintage and modern. Mike has had many influences flavor his musical experience, including original rock bands, jazz college, blues jams and years of experimenting with his own writing and recording techniques. Currently, The Mike MacKenzie Band maintains a steady itinerary of shows all over Western Canada and he released his second album "Solstice" in late 2017. An enhanced follow-up to his first album "Natural Causes" (2014), it is a collection of ten original songs that offers an eventful listening through several veins of rock. His music has been called "a richly diverse selection but always interesting" by Classic Rock Society, "a substantial level of songwriting craft" by Blues Matters Magazine and he sees this new release as an accurate depiction of his present musical whereabouts.
